Last week I ate brown rice for several consecutive days. I love organic products and how it helps your system. But I think I do not like brown rice all the time. I guess it is indeed an acquired taste. I still like fluffy white rice whatever they say about it. Also I've learned most of the process in white rice from my crop science class and it did not diminish my love for it ha! Sabi ko nga hindi ako mag panggap na gusto ko yun eh talagang hindi ko feel kainin kung pure brown rice lang lagi. Paminsan minsan Ok at kung halo sa white rice OK din.
When we were in Baguio at PNKY, we were also served brown rice. I liked it better that the one from Cavite. For me the good thing about it is that they mix it with the normal white rice thus, it is more fluffy compared to the pure brown rice sinaing.
By the way, I haven't written an entry in this food blog for a quite a while. I am sad to neglect my blog but I will try to be more updated. Haha as if I have readers. Actually I just do this to remind me of the good food and not so good ones. Also have a place to put my thoughts on the recipes and dishes both old and new. Things that I discovered. And of course about food we can bring up the mountains and enjoy in the outdoors.
I think brown rice is a bit difficult to cook in high altitude and not to mention the huge water requirement to cook it hahaha. Good luck to who ever wants to carry more water on their backs.
